About Katie

I am a homeschooled homeschooler sharing my homestyle heart and a wealth of homeschooling ideas. I wouldn’t say I’m an expert, but I definitely have a lot of experience! I live in northeast central Pennsylvania with my husband, three kids, two cats, a lot of chickens, some goats, and a fluctuating number of rabbits, all of whom inspire our family activities.

As a proud Ravenclaw, with a spirit animal of a bear and a choleric personality (roar!), I hug indiscriminately. While saying I run on coffee and Jesus may sound cliché, it truly reflects my daily life.

All my homeschooling success can be attributed to Life of Fred Math, PaperPie’s 100 Things to Know series, the United States National Park Service, the Kratt brothers of PBS fame, and of course, the Lord.

FUN FACTS:

I will spend an embarrassingly long time looking for a pleasing alliteration to spice up my writing.

I put flavored cream cheese in my scrambled eggs and on my grilled cheese sandwiches.

My gnomes have gnames.
